“The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the LORD at their head.”Micah 2:13
How to get real change in your life when you’ve done all you can do.
What area are you struggling to see breakthrough in? Is this an area that you’ve been holding on to? When we let go and finally surrender an area to God, He can bring the breakthrough that we never could.
What is a breakthrough?
Breakthrough: A sudden dramatic or important discovery or development.
Perception changes everything. God can change our perception on a situation and we can experience an immediate breakthrough in that area- not through our efforts but through the God and the spirit of breakthrough.
“Then I will say to my soul, ‘Don’t be discouraged; don’t be disturbed, for I fully expect my Savior-God to break through for me. Then I’ll have plenty of reasons to praise Him all over again. Yes, living before His face is my saving grace.”Psalms 43:5
Different Areas of Breakthrough:
- Trials You’re Experiencing
- Promises That Were Spoken Over You
- The Word & Our Understanding
When we can’t bring about change through our own strength, we can pray for Jesus to bring a breakthrough for us.
There are breakthroughs in the Gospel that you will only get when you are walking with Jesus… There is breakthrough in our longevity with Jesus.
How does breakthrough come about?
- Endurance leads to breakthrough (Hebrews 12:1-3, Rev 14:12)
- Determination leads to breakthrough (Luke 18:35-43)
- Identity equals breakthrough (Matthew 12:33, 1 John 3:1-2)
- Obedience leads to breakthrough (Ephesians 1:17, John 14:21, James 1:22-25)
What area do you need a breakthrough in?
God is waiting to give us the breakthrough we so desperately need and desire. He’s waiting for us to ask, to surrender it to Him, to accept we can’t do it on our own. Give it to Him right now and expect a breakthrough. Stay strong, determined, obedient and own your identity as His child.
“If you, imperfect as you are, know how to lovingly take care of your children and give them what’s best, how much more ready is your heavenly Father to give wonderful gifts to those who ask him?”Matthew 7:11
